The City of Toledo is located in Lincoln County, Oregon along Highway 20, 6 miles inland from the Pacific Ocean. The City serves approximately 3,590 residents and was incorporated in 1905.
The City Council consists of a Mayor and six (6) council members. The Mayor is a voting member of the City Council. The City Attorney, City Manager, and Municipal Judge are all appointed by the City Council and all serve at the pleasure of the City Council. The City of Toledo operates under the Council-Manager form of government. In addition to the City Manager, the senior management staff currently consists of eight (8) employees, including the City Attorney, City Recorder, Chief of Police, Public Works Director, Library Director, Finance Director, Pool Director, and Fire Chief.
