Company Overview
The City of Corallis is a full service municipal organization, offering Planning, Development, Police, Fire, Parks & Recreation, Library, Transportation, Water/Wastewater utilities, a municipal airport, and general administrative services. The City Council consists of nine members, elected by ward for two year terms. The Corvallis Mayor is elected for a four year term. The City's operations are overseen by a City Manager and seven department directors.
Corvallis is a vibrant community, home to Oregon State University, Hewlett-Packard, CH2M Hill, and a growing number of small business spin offs coming out of both OSU and local tech firms. Corvallis' downtown remains its center, with a growing number of micro-breweries opening alongside restaurants that feature locally grown food.
